JUSTIN FIELDS
Quarterback
In the end, it wasn't good enough to engineer victory, which remains the most important thing. But in terms of aesthetics, the eye-test, it represented progress.
In his fourth start in a Steelers uniform, Justin Fields completed 22-of-34 (64.7 percent) for 312 yards, with 1 touchdown, no interceptions, and a rating of 104.0. He also led the Steelers with 55 yards rushing in 10 carries (5.5 average) and scored 2 touchdowns. The 27-24 loss in Indianapolis marked the first time the Steelers scored 3 touchdowns this season, and it was the first game since Oct. 9, 2022, that they had a quarterback pass for 300 yards in a regular season game.
