Hay que darle la vuelta a la hoja, nadie quedó contento tras la derrota el jueves por la noche contra los Vikings, y aunque las esperanzas de alcanzar un lugar en la postemporada lucen lejanas, todavía hay oportunidad de hacerlo, vamos a platicar sobre el mes de juego que queda de temporada regular.
Semana 15 vs Titans
Regresamos a Heinz Field para recibir al líder de la AFC Sur hasta el momento, aunque el momentum no es el mejor para los Titans, tienen armas para complicar el partido. Si Derrick Henry estuviera jugando la historia sería completamente diferente. La buena noticia es que T.J. Watt probablemente sí logre recuperarse de su lesión en la ingle, el líder de capturas de la NFL siempre hace la diferencia a la defensiva.
Semana 16 @ Chiefs
Visitaremos a los Chiefs en Arrowhead, curiosamente otro líder divisional hasta el momento, los Chiefs tuvieron un arranque de temporada bastante complicado, pero poco a poco han levantado el camino. No es necesario un análisis profundo de la extraordinaria ofensiva al mando de Andy Reid, su punto débil es la defensiva, probablemente veamos un show aéreo por parte de los dos equipos.
Semana 17 vs Browns
Está de más mencionar que cada partido desde la semana 15 es una final, pero un juego divisional en la semana 17 en Cleveland podría ser la diferencia entre llegar o no a los playoffs. El primer partido contra los Browns estuvo apretado, los Acereros ganaron 15-10, me dan nervios pensar en este partido, pero nervios de los buenos.
Semana 18 @ Ravens
Cerrar la temporada contra los Ravens tiene un sabor muy especial, y también qué difícil es cerrar con dos rivales divisionales o que de nuestros últimos 4 partidos, 3 sean contra líderes divisionales. La verdad es que no está fácil, en Heinz nos llevamos la victoria contra Baltimore con un buen regreso en la segunda mitad y un poquito de suerte al final.
El camino será complicado, pero este equipo se ha caracterizado a través de los años por su actitud ante la adversidad, en los juegos a matar o morir siempre sacan la casta y pelean con la frente en alto en cada partido. La situación no es la mejor pero tampoco hay nada que podamos hacer para cambiar el pasado. Siempre hay que ver para adelante.
