Los Pittsburgh Steelers visitarán Las Vegas para enfrentarse a los Raiders el próximo domingo a las 2:05 p.m. hora del centro de México. Los Steelers vienen de su segunda derrota consecutiva tras un inicio 3-0 de la temporada y buscan regresar al camino de la victoria.
La buena noticia es que los Steelers tienen marca 4-0 contra la División Oeste de la AFC desde 2022 (2-0 vs LV y 1-0 vs DEN y LAC). El último partido entre Pittsburgh y Las Vegas fue el SNF de la semana tres de la temporada pasada en la que los QBs que se enfrentaron fue Kenny Pickett contra Jimmy Garoppolo, mucho ha cambiado en ambas franquicias desde entonces.
Mike Tomlin habló ante los medios de comunicación como todos los martes y mencionó una actualización importante respecto a Russell Wilson y es que este miércoles fue el primer entrenamiento con completa participación de Wilson con el equipo y aunque Justin Fields tomó las repeticiones con el primer equipo la posibilidad de ver a Rusell Wilson está "entreabierta" en palabras de Coach T y todo dependerá de su desarrollo y desempeño durante el resto de la semana.
Será interesante ver la situación del quarterback de nuestros rivales. Gardner Minshew fue banqueado durante el partido de la semana 5 y su lugar fue tomado por Aiden O'Connell y aunque para el momento de esta nota no hay un titular definido para el próximo domingo lo que tenemos muy claro desde nuestra trinchera será la presión que podamos ejercer ante cualquiera de sus opciones. T.J. Watt viene de haber registrado su sack número 100 en la NFL y será exigido al doble ya que ni Alex Highsmith ni Nick Herbig verán acción en Las Vegas.
Como todas las semanas será clave establecer el juego terrestre temprano en el partido. Warren todavía es duda para participar en el partido y Patterson no podrá jugar por una lesión en el tobillo. Najee Harris y Justin Fields serán los encargados de llevar la carga terrestre; cabe señalar que la defensiva de los Raiders han permitido 4.9 yardas en promedio por acarreo, así que habrá que tomar ventaja de esa debilidad el próximo domingo.
Ojito con lo que haga Brock Bowers, el ala cerrada novato de los Raiders, quién es líder del equipo con 28 recepciones, 313 yardas y un touchdown.
Será un partido duro, especialmente con todas las bajas por lesión que tiene el equipo pero nada está escrito. El partido lo podrán disfrutar a través de la señal de Fox Sports en México, por steelers.com con Álvaro Martín y Arturo Carlos y por NFL Game Pass Internacional.
