The moves continued for the Steelers on Tuesday when the team signed free agent defensive lineman Casey Sayles to a one-year contract.
Sayles originally was signed to a reserve/futures contract by the Steelers last offseason, and was with the team through the 2018 preseason. He was released prior to the start of the regular season.
Sayles entered the NFL as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Ohio University, signed by the Los Angeles Rams following the 2017 NFL Draft. He was released prior to the start of the 2017 regular season.
Most recently Sayles was playing for the Birmingham Iron of the Alliance of American Football (AAF).
