The Steelers signed offensive tackle Aviante Collins to a Reserve/Future contract.
Collins entered the NFL as an undrafted rookie free agent with the Minnesota Vikings in 2017. He played in three games his rookie season, including two in the postseason.
Collins missed the majority of the 2018 season when he was placed on the Reserve/Injured List. He played in two games in 2019, including his first NFL start in Week 17 against the Chicago Bears. Collins spent the majority of the 2020 season on the Vikings practice squad.
Collins played college football at TCU where he played in 49 games, including starting 36 starts from 2012-14, 2016. He started in 13 games as a redshirt senior in 2016 and took part in the 2017 NFL Combine.
