The Steelers released receiver Scotty Miller from the active roster on Thursday.
Miller signed a one-year contract with the team during the offseason.
He has appeared in 13 games this season, starting one. He has five receptions for 69 yards.
In six NFL seasons he has played in 80 games, pulling in 90 receptions for 1,154 yards and six touchdowns.
