The Steelers claimed defensive tackle Willington Previlon off waivers from the Atlanta Falcons.
Previlon originally signed with the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent following the 2020 NFL Draft.
Previlon has spent time with the Packers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Dallas Cowboys and Falcons, but has yet to play in a regular season game.
He played college football at Rutgers where he appeared in 36 games over three seasons. He finished with 71 tackles, 31 of them solo stops, 11.5 tackles for a loss, four sacks and three passes defensed.
In his final season he was selected honorable mention All-Big Ten in the media vote, won the Homer Hazel Award as the team's most valuable player at the senior banquet and won the David Bender Trophy as the top defensive lineman on the team.
