Rooney talks Ben, NFL Draft & more

Steelers President Art Rooney II joined Steelers Nation Unite members on Wednesday afternoon for his annual season-ending edition of "The Huddle" and discussed a wide-variety of topics during the 20-minute call, including the 2018 season, draft preparations, the Hall of Honor Class of 2019 and the future of Ben Roethlisberger in Pittsburgh.

"Ben has one more year left on his existing contract and we've already started talking to him and his representative about extending that contract," Rooney said. "So, I think that Ben has some good years left. He's still, I would say, close to being in the prime of his career and now that we see quarterbacks around the league that are playing into their 40s, I am not sure there is any reason why Ben can't play for several more years. So we are looking forward to that."
