Dicen por ahí que "la casa siempre gana" pero en esta ocasión no fue así. Los Pittsburgh Steelers derrotaron 32-13 a Las Vegas Raiders en el partido de la semana 6 de la temporada de la NFL.
Antes que nada, gracias a toda la Steeler Nation que fue al partido, era impresionante ver el estadio pintado negro y amarillo, sin duda fuímos locales en Las Vegas.
El partido tuvo dos claros MVP 's, el mismísimo tao tao, Najee Harris y el triturador, T.J. Watt. ¡Qué partido se mandaron ambos!.
Najee registró 106 yardas por tierra en 14 acarreos y un increíble touchdown de 36 yardas, dato curioso es el primer touchdown terrestre para un corredor de los Steelers este año.
Lo de T.J. Watt fue una auténtica locura, en un par de jugadas en los que una fue la calca de la otra, Watt conectó un par de derechazos dignos del Canelo Álvarez directo al balón que ocasionaron dos fumbles recuperados para los Steelers y que cambiaron el rumbo del partido.
"No tengo palabras para describir lo que hizo T.J. Watt sobre el impacto en el juego y las distintas maneras en las que es especial, no es sorpresa para nadie, pero es muy especial" fueron las palabras de Mike Tomlin sobre nuestro linebacker después del partido.
Justin Fields tuvo un arranque lento pero poco a poco fue soltándose, sigue viéndose muy bien corriendo el balón y liberando la presión de la defensivas aunque falta todavía precisión en ciertos pases en oportunidades clave, pero como dice Coach Tomlin, prefiero arreglar ese tipo de problemas durante la semana pero con una W en la bolsa.
Los equipos especiales también se lucieron con una patada de despeje bloqueada arrancando la segunda mitad, algo que sin duda motivó a todo el equipo y la respuesta fue inmediata con un gol de campo de Chris Boswell.
Aspectos a mejorar, los castigos. "Creo que los castigos nos detuvieron especialmente al arranque del partido, diferentes tipos de indisciplinas y falta de concentración no nos permitieron entrar en ritmo" comentó Coach T ante los medios de comunicación.
La siguiente semana hay partido en horario estelar nuevamente cuando nos enfrentemos a los Jets en el Sunday Night Football en Acrisure Stadium. Más adelante en la semana estaremos analizando a nuestro próximo rival.
