Los Steelers firmaron al receptor JuJu Smith-Schuster a un contrato de un año.
En sus primeras cuatro temporadas, Smith-Schuster tiene 308 recepciones en su carrera para 3,726 yardas y 26 touchdowns, aportando energía y explosividad a la ofensiva.
En la temporada del 2020, Smith-Schuster tuvo 97 recepciones para 831 yardas y nueve touchdowns.
"Este es un jugador que ha estado en el sistema ya por un tiempo", dijo Ben Roethlisberger durante la temporada. "Es un competidor. Es divertido jugar con él. El es duro. Obtiene esas primeras oportunidades cuando se necesitan. El es inteligente. Es un tipo con el que puedes moverte y ponerlo prácticamente en cualquier lugar y sabe qué hacer. Ayuda a que otros muchachos se alineen. Confío en él,el es alguien que te hace sentir bastante cómodo ".
JuJu publico en sus redes sociales el siguiente mensaje:
"No puedo decirlo lo suficiente, te amo Pittsburgh. Entré aquí un joven de 20 años y ustedes me recibieron con los brazos abiertos desde el momento en que llegué aquí. Tanto amor.
