El ala cerrada Pat Freiermuth regresó a practicar el miércoles, pero permanecera en la lista de reserva/lesionados.
Los Steelers tienen una ventana de 21 días para activarlo al roster de 53 jugadores o permanecer en la Lista de Reserva/Lesionados el resto del año.
"Me siento bien con Pat Freiermuth y lo veremos más durante la semana y veremos la calidad de su trabajo y la cantidad del mismo, y cómo se siente y dejaremos que eso sea un factor que determine su estado", dijo el entrenador Mike Tomlin durante su conferencia semanal. "Pero me siento bien con su posible disponibilidad".
Freiermuth se ha perdido los últimos cuatro juegos mientras estando en la lista de reserva/lesionados, así como el juego de los Ravens en la semana 8, mientras lidiaba con una lesión en el tendón de la corva.
Freiermuth ha jugado sólo cuatro partidos esta temporada y tiene ocho recepciones para 53 yardas y dos touchdowns.
El equipo también contrató al tackle defensivo Breiden Fehoko y al apoyador Tyler Murray para el equipo de práctica.
