Semana de rivalidad histórica. Los Pittsburgh Steelers reciben a los Dallas Cowboys en Acrisure Stadium en el Sunday Night Football de la semana 5 de la temporada regular de la NFL.
No tenemos duda de que será un juego especial en horario estelar entre dos equipos históricos y con mucho seguimiento en México y latinoamérica. Son los únicos equipos que se han enfrentado tres veces en un Super Bowl (X, XIII, XXX) y en los cuales los Steelers ganaron dos.
Pero bueno suficiente clase de historia vamos al partido de esta semana.
Los Cowboys han sufrido dos bajas importantes a la defensiva, Micah Parsons y Demarcus Lawrence no jugarán el próximo domingo y esto favorecerá a nuestra unidad ofensiva, quienes siguen en búsqueda de mayor ritmo al arrancar los partidos y poder controlar el juego desde temprano.
La defensiva por tierra de los Cowboys viene de un gran juego contra los Giants y será vital que Najee Harris y los corredores que estén disponibles el domingo pueden establecer el juego terrestre desde el principio, pero Mike Zimmer, un viejo conocido de los Steelers hará todo lo posible para llenar la caja y evitar eso, tendremos un ajedrez interesante en ese aspecto del partido
Una de las claves más importantes en la semana será detener a la dupla de Dak Prescott y CeeDee Lamb y esto empieza desde la presión que se pueda ejercer sobre el quarterback de Dallas. El matchup entre Terence Steele, tackle derecho y T.J. Watt es una gran oportunidad para incomodar a Prescott.
"Tengo mucho respeto hacía Dak Prescott, veo a un jugador que es ultra competitivo, tiene un increíble talento en su brazo y es un líder en toda la extensión de la palabra", fueron las palabras de Mike Tomlin sobre el mariscal de campo de nuestro próximo rival.
Sobre Lamb y el cuerpo de receptores de los Cowboys habrá que tener en cuenta que nuestra defensiva secundaria no viene de su mejor actuación en Indianápolis en semana 4 y que sabiendo la calidad de receptor que es Lamb no habrá espacio para titubear el próximo domingo por la noche.
Este partido es uno muy especial para los Steelers, una noche antes habrá un evento para fans mexicanos y latinos en Acrisure Stadium para calentar motores previo al enfrentamiento del Sunday Night Football.
