Segunda semana consecutiva en horario estelar para los Pittsburgh Steelers, quienes recibirán a los New York Giants en Acrisure Stadium el próximo lunes por la noche.
El equipo viene de una gran victoria en contra de los Jets el pasado Sunday Night Football en el partido que significó el debut de Russell Wilson como quarterback de los Steelers y con eso una mejora significativa en el juego aéreo de nuestra ofensiva.
"Nuestro objetivo es ganar con más fluidez, esa es nuestra marca colectiva y por lo que trabajamos cada semana, ganar de manera constante y ganar más ritmo" fueron las palabras de Mike Tomlin en conferencia de prensa.
El lunes por la noche Russell Wilson y compañía se enfrentarán a una de las peores defensivas por aire de la temporada, los Giants han permitido en promedio 102.9 rating a quarterbacks rivales y 71% de pases completos, la tercera peor marca de toda la NFL en 2024.
Pero para poder explotar esta ventaja estadística en el juego aéreo será necesario un gran partido de la línea ofensiva de los Steelers, ya que se enfrentarán a la defensiva con más capturas hasta el momento con 31 y la quinta en QB hits de toda la NFL.
Aunque la historia no será muy diferente del otro lado, nuestra defensiva está jugando a un nivel altísimo y Daniel Jones, mariscal de campo de los Giants, la ha pasado mal en las últimas tres semanas en cuanto a capturas, ya que lo han castigado en 12 ocasiones, 4 capturas en promedio por partido los últimos 3 juegos.
Los Giants tienen marca de 0-2 en juegos en horario estelar en 2024, hagámoslo 3-0.
