Jacob Copeland

Jacob Copeland originally signed with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent following the 2023 NFL Draft. He was released by the Titans, later signing with the Minnesota Vikings during training camp. Copeland was released prior to the start of the regular season.

Copeland played at the University of Maryland in 2022 where he caught 26 passes for 376 yards and two touchdowns. Prior to that he spent four seasons at the University of Florida where he had 86 receptions for 1,366 yards and nine touchdowns.

COLLEGE

• Spent the first four years of his collegiate career at Florida (2018-21) before transferring to Maryland for the 2022 season
• As a redshirt freshman in 2019, he appeared in each of Florida's 13 games at wide receiver and special teams, finishing with 21 catches for 273 yards (21.0 ypg) and two TDs
• Appeared and started at wide receiver in 11 contests in 2020, recording 435 yards receiving and three TDs on 23 receptions (18.9 avg.)
• Started in 11 of the 12 games in which he appeared for Florida in 2021
• Concluded his Florida tenure playing in 40 games, hauling in 86 receptions for 1,366 yards and nine TDs
• In one season at Maryland, he appeared in 12 games and led the team by averaging 14.5 yards per reception

• Sister, Kayla, was also a student at Florida
• Earned baseball scholarships to LSU, Florida State and Georgia despite not playing since eighth grade
• Recorded 2,261 yards receiving and 19 TDs on 104 receptions during his prep career at Escambia H.S.
• Amassed 685 yards rushing and 10 TDs on 99 attempts
• Finished his career with 3,245 all-purpose yards, including 196 yards on kickoff return
