Steelers preseason schedule announced

The 2018 preseason schedule was released today, and it means one thing. Football season is getting closer by the minute.

While some of the dates still need to be determined, and no times have been set, the opponents have been finalized.

The Steelers will open the preseason on the road against the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles in Week 1.

They will remain road warriors in Week 2 when they take on the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.  

It will be home sweet home as they close out the preseason with back-to-back games at Heinz Field.

The Steelers will host the Tennessee Titans on Saturday, August 25, a team coached by former Steelers linebacker Mike Vrabel.

The team will close out the preseason at home against the Carolina Panthers on Thursday, August 30, the 16th consecutive year the two teams will meet in the final week of the preseason.

All Steelers' preseason games will be broadcast on KDKA-TV.
