Steelers-Jaguars kickoff time changed

Kickoff for the Steelers Week 11 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, Nov. 18 has been flexed by the NFL.

The game, originally scheduled to start at 8:20 p.m., will now be a 1 p.m. kickoff at TIAA Bank Field and broadcast on CBS, locally on KDKA-TV.

CBS has also protected the Steelers-Broncos game on Sunday, Nov. 25 (Week 12), the Steelers-Los Angeles Chargers game on Sunday, Dec. 2 (Week 13), the Steelers-Patriots game on Dec. 16 (Week 15), and the Steelers-Saints game on Sunday, Dec. 23 (Week 16). These games will not be flexed and the kickoff times will not change.

The Steelers still have two primetime games remaining including this Thursday, Nov. 8 against the Carolina Panthers at Heinz Field at 8:20 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 9 against the Oakland Raiders at Oakland Coliseum at 8:20 p.m.

NFL flexible scheduling runs from Weeks 5-17. The NFL implemented flexible scheduling in 2006 for Weeks 10-15 and expanded it in 2014 to include Weeks 5-17.
