The Steelers will be without starting right tackle Marcus Gilbert when they take on the Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium, inactive for the second straight game with a knee injury.
After being a full participant in practice on Wednesday, Gilbert took a step backwards and was limited on Thursday and did not practice at all on Friday.
With Gilbert out, Matt Feiler will make his third start of the season.
"This is something I have to stay ready for," said Feiler. "It keeps me on my toes."
Feiler was part of the offensive line that blocked for James Conner against the Browns, a game that earned Conner AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors.
"He hits the holes," said Feiler. "He knows where to find the holes. He is a downhill runner. He punishes defenders trying to tackle him. I think everyone feeds off his energy. It's a good energy to feed off of. He is an exciting player to watch."
Receiver Justin Hunter is on the inactive list this week, while James Washington is active. Last week Washington was inactive for the first time this season.
Also inactive are Mason Rudolph, Marcus Allen, Brian Allen, Zach Banner and L.T. Walton
