Maurkice Pouncey was selected as a second-team Associated Press All-Pro, the only Steelers' player to make either first or second team on the coveted list.
Pouncey was previously named a first-team selection (2011 and 2014) and was a second-team selection twice (2010 and 2012).
Pouncey has been the centerpiece of the Steelers offensive line that is considered the best in the NFL by many, including those they face.
"They do a good job using their hands," said Patriots Coach Bill Belichick. "They do a really good job of keeping the blockers away from their body, protecting inside out. (Ben) Roethlisberger does a good job of staying in the pocket, stepping up. Sometimes they get peppered back into him a little bit. They hold their ground and Ben throws it right over them. It is a very good group inside. Those are probably as good an inside group of players there is in the league."
Pouncey also was voted to the Pro Bowl this year, his seventh time being selected, and goes in as a starter while his brother, Chargers center Mike Pouncey, was also selected.
