Steelers Coach of the Week - Week 6
Bob Palko, Mt. Lebanon High School
In just his second season at Mt. Lebanon, Coach Bob Palko pulled off a program-changing upset victory over number-two ranked Central Catholic, 37-30. The game went back and forth early, but then the Blue Devils rallied from a 17-point deficit to secure the win, scoring the go-ahead touchdown with just over 3 minutes remaining in the game. Coach Palko has won a record-setting eight WPIAL Championships as a head coach in his career.
