New regulations prohibit fans for Steelers-Colts game

Because of the recent regulations announced by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania limiting the size of outdoor gatherings, and in cooperation with public health authorities, the Steelers will not be hosting fans at Heinz Field for their game against Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, Dec. 27.

The Steelers sent an email on Friday afternoon to fans who had already purchased tickets to inform them all transactions for that game will be cancelled.

The email read: "Season ticket holders will receive a credit to their account. Individual game ticket purchasers will receive additional communication from the point-of-sale (i.e. Ticketmaster, StubHub, SeatGeek)."

The current order on gathering limits is set to expire on Jan. 4, 2021. The Steelers informed season ticket holders who opted in for the season that they will communicate information regarding potential postseason games soon.
