Funcionó el juego terrestre
Hace mucho que los Steelers no eran tan dominantes por tierra en un partido. Vimos el primer juego de más de 100 yardas como profesional (122) y en general el ataque de Pittsburgh fue muy eficiente en esta vía, consiguiendo 147 yardas con una anotación.
Gracias a eso Pittsburgh tuvo el balón por más de 33 minutos y pudo convertir 7 de 12 terceras oportunidades. Lo cual fue la diferencia en este encuentro
La defensiva fue dominante y oportunista
El juego terminó con una intercepción en zona roja de James Pierre (la primera de Teddy Bridgewater en toda la temporada), sin embargo por tres cuartos la defensiva de los Steelers contuvo por completo a los Broncos, incluyendo una gran serie defensiva donde Denver tenía el balón a una yarda de anotar.
A eso también hay que agregar que hubo dos sacks, los Broncos 2 de 12 en terceras oportunidades y se construyó una ventaja de 18 puntos faltando 17 minutos por jugar.
Chase Claypool salió en plan imparable
El WR de segundo año de los Steelers fue de lo mejor de la ofensiva en este partido. Atrapó 5 recepciones para 130 yardas y el último TD de la ofensiva de los Steelers en este encuentro. Además tuvo una espectacular escapada de 59 yardas en un gran diseño de jugada del coordinador ofensivo Matt Canada.

Me parece que la actuación del equipo en el último cuarto fue un poco alarmante, sobre todo porque le dieron vida de más a un rival que no tenía oportunidad en este encuentro.

La línea ofensiva
Chase Claypool tuvo un duelo dominante, pero sinceramente el trabajo que hizo la línea ofensiva de los Steelers en contra de Denver fue muy destacado. En general sólo se permitió un sack, se contuvo muy bien a Von Miller, el juego terrestre fue muy bueno y en general Big Ben tuvo tiempo para conectar con sus receptores.
¿Qué sigue para los Steelers?
El panorama del equipo luce bastante esperanzador después de la Semana 5. No sólo se consiguió un triunfo vital contra Denver, sino que ahora el equipo recibirá en casa a Seattle sin su QB titular, Russell Wilson.
