Fitzpatrick ranked No. 79 in Top 100 Players

Current NFL players have once again voted on their Top 100 Players of 2024 in the league, and safety Minkah Fitzpatrick is among the Steelers to make the list as they do the countdown.

Fitzpatrick came in at No. 79 on the list. He was ranked No. 18 on the list in 2023.

Fitzpatrick was selected to his fourth Pro Bowl in 2023. He was second on the Steelers with 64 tackles, 43 of them solo stops, despite missing six games due to injury. He also had three passes defensed and a tackle for a loss.

Fitzpatrick had a season-high 11 tackles against the Rams last season, while his career-high is 14 tackles against Cincinnati (2022) and Tennessee (2021).

The Steelers 2022 Most Valuable Player has found success on the field since he was traded to the team in 2019. He has played in 89 career games in his six seasons in the NFL, recording 510 tackles, 336 of them solo stops, 19 interceptions, four forced fumbles and five fumble recoveries.

Fitzpatrick was the winner of the 2024 Bart Starr Award, selected by his peers for the honor. The award honors a player for his outstanding character, integrity and leadership on and off the field.

"The Top 100 Players of 2024" premieres Monday, July 22 at noon ET on NFL+ with players ranked No. 100-81, and continues with 10 players revealed weekdays through Wednesday, July 31. The top 10 will be announced on Friday, Aug. 2 at 8 p.m. ET live on NFL Network.
