Fans enjoy opening week at training camp

Throughout training camp, Steelers Nation Unite is recognizing and rewarding fans for their dedication and loyalty to the team. It started with the first practice that was open to the public on Thursday, July 26 and will continue through the end of camp and, of course, the rest of the year. Free to join, fans can visit SteelersNationUnite.com to get access to exclusive events, rewards, content and more all year long.

Take a look below at how fans have kicked off the season in a fun way with Steelers Nation Unite at training camp.

With ways to get rewarded each day at training camp, opening day came with an added bonus for this group of Steelers Nation Unite members. Their spins on the prize wheel landed on Field Passes, which meant an up-close view of practice as they watched their favorite players get to work for the 2018 season.

Steelers fans are the greatest in the world. There's no question about that. This sign spotted this sign on Day 2 of training camp and Steelers Nation Unite made sure the rest of Steelers Nation could see this awesome display of dedication and loyalty to the black and gold.

Speaking of dedication to the Steelers, Kevin Eash of Pearland, TX, provided another example of how much fans love their team. A few days before the team reported to Training Camp, Eash packed up his Steelers truck and hit the road for a nearly 1,400-mile trip to Latrobe, PA. With a few stops along the way, Eash made it in to enjoy the first three days of practice and tell Steelers Nation Unite his story. Stay tuned for more to come this season on his journey and the story behind his Steelers truck.

As is tradition at training camp, players stop along the fence lines surrounding the practice fields to sign autographs for fans. Among the players stopping over the weekend was Ryan Shazier, whose presence was met with much excitement from those gathered nearby, many of whom shouted messages of support for Shazier as he signed their footballs, Terrible Towels, and jerseys and thanked them for their prayers and well-wishes.

There's being excited for football, and then there's this young fan. Talk about being fired up for his Steelers. Luckily for him, and the rest of Steelers Nation, training camp resumes on Wednesday!
