Sammie Coates was limited in practice on Friday, the first day he got on the field this week after injuring his finger against the Jets.
Coates is questionable for Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium, and he was uncertain after Friday's practice whether he would be ready to go or not.
"I don't know yet," said Coates. "We are going to talk about it and see how it goes. It's day-by-day. We'll see tomorrow how it goes."
Coates said the swelling in the hand went down and that he didn't have to wear any special glove where his finger, which required stitches, was cut.
"You can't worry," said Coates. "You have to play football. You have to be a pro. It's part of the game."
The good news, though, is receiver Eli Rogers was back in action, a full participant in practice all week and he is not listed on the status report after missing the last two games.
The following are out for Sunday's game: T Marcus Gilbert (ankle), DE Cameron Heyward (hamstring), LB Ryan Shazier (knee), S Robert Golden (groin), C Cody Wallace (knee), WR Markus Wheaton (shoulder).
