Auditions set for 2019 Pittsburgh Steeline

The Pittsburgh Steeline drumline has just announced that they will be holding open auditions for new members. Auditions for the 2019 football season will be held on Sunday, June 2nd from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and Sunday, June 9th, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Irish Centre of Pittsburgh in Squirrel Hill.

Founded in 2012, the Steeline works with the Pittsburgh Steelers to create energetic and exciting drumline entertainment for Steelers fans to enjoy on game day. The Steeline performs live from inside Heinz Field during each Steelers home game, and also gives several performances in and around Heinz Field before and after each game. Members are compensated for their time.

In addition, the Steeline performs at a variety of other Steelers and Heinz Field functions, including past performances at Steelers training camp, the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game, Steelers Fan Blitz, Steelers Playoff Pep Rallies at Stage AE, and the Heinz Field 4th of July Celebration. The Steeline was also featured during the open ceremonies of the Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Philadelphia Flyers NHL Stadium Series game at Heinz Field in February 2017 as well as this past March at the 2019 NCAA Div. I Wrestling Championships at PPG Pants Arena.
