October 25, 1964 - Ernie Stautner's No. 70 jersey retired. Stautner, a Hall of Famer, played for the Steelers for 14 years and was the first jersey ever retired by the team.

October 25, 1993 - Chris Wormley was born

October 25, 1998 - Pat Freiermuth was born.

October 26, 2003 - 1,000th game in team history.

October 26, 1991 - B.J. Finney was born.
