July 1, 2000 - Demarvin Leal was born Abigail Dean/Pittsburgh Steelers

July 5th, 1996 - Diontae Johnson was born

July 6, 1997 - Nate Gilliam was born Abigail Dean/Pittsburgh Steelers

July 7th, 1998 - Chase Claypool was born

July 8th, 1933 - Franchise known as 'Pittsburgh Pirates' officially founded by Art Rooney Sr. The name was later changed to the Steelers.

July 11th, 1985 - Hall of Fame linebacker Jack Lambert officially announced his retirement. During his 11 years with the Steelers, Lambert won four Super Bowls. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1990.

July 11, 1996 - Derrek Tuszka was born Karl Roser/Pittsburgh Steelers

July 13, 1993 - Arthur Maulet was born Caitlyn Epes/Pittsburgh Steelers

July 17th, 1995 - Mason Rudolph was born

July 18th, 1998 - Devin Bush was born

July 20th, 1932 - Dan Rooney was born on Pittsburgh's North Side. Rooney, son of Art Rooney Sr., would follow in his father's footsteps into ownership of the Steelers.

July 24th, 1984 - Hall of Fame quarterback Terry Bradshaw retired. Bradshaw was the first NFL quarterback to win four Super Bowls during his 14 years with the Steelers. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1989.

July 24th, 1989 - Maurkice Pouncey was born

July 24, 1995 - Montravius Adams was born Karl Roser/Pittsburgh Steelers

July 26th, 1997 - Mike Webster inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Webster was a four-time Super Bowl champion and a nine-time Pro Bowl selection.

July 29th, 2000 - Dan Rooney inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Rooney served in several positions with the Steelers, most notably President, Chairman and Owner. His work in championing diversity and interviewing minority candidates for positions in coaching, scouting and management was what created the 'Rooney Rule.'

July 31st, 1993 - Chuck Noll inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Noll was named the Steelers 14th head coach on January 27th, 1969. He was the youngest coach in the NFL and was the first coach to win four Super Bowls.

July 30th, 1988 - Jack Ham inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Ham was a four-time Super Bowl Champion, an eight-time Pro Bowler and won NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 1976.
