A look at a few of today's more intriguing games as the Steelers enjoy a Sunday off:

DENVER (3-4) at PHILADELPHIA (7-1):** Are the Eagles really the best team in the NFL? They host the Broncos in possession of the NFL's best record. Quarterback Carson Wentz is tied for the NFL lead with 19 touchdown passes and No. 1 in the NFC with 2,063 passing yards. Wentz has a passer rating of 117.2 in his last three home games (783 yards, 10 touchdowns and three interceptions). Running back Jay Ajayi makes his debut with the Eagles after having rushed for 1,737 yards since 2016, the fifth-most in the NFL in that span. Brock Osweiler replaces Trevor Siemian at quarterback for Denver, Osweiler's first start with the Broncos since 2015.
KANSAS CITY (6-2) at DALLAS (4-3): The Chiefs are who we thought they were. Quarterback Alex Smith still hasn't thrown an interception (his 16 touchdown passes are tied for the third most without throwing an INT at the start of a season). Running back Kareem Hunt continues to lead the NFL in rushing (763 yards) and yards from scrimmage (1,070). Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence leads the NFL with 10.5 sacks and has at least one in all seven games this season.

INDIANAPOLIS (2-6) at HOUSTON (3-4):** What did the Texans lose when they lost Deshaun Watson to a torn ACL on Thursday? A guy who threw for 402 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for 67 yards in the Texans' 41-38 loss on Oct. 29 at Seattle. A guy who became the first player in NFL history to throw for 400 yards and four touchdowns and rush for 50 yards in a game in that gane. And a guy whose 18 touchdown passes in the last five games are the most in the NFL in that span, whose 19 TD tosses overall tied Wentz for the NFL lead. Houston has lost Watson, defensive end J.J. Watt and linebacker Whitney Mercilus for the season this season. Houston has a problem.

ATLANTA (4-3) at CAROLINA (5-3):** The Panthers didn't allow an offensive touchdown for the second consecutive game and for a franchise record-tying fourth time this season in their 17-3 win on Oct. 29 at Tampa Bay. Carolina returns home off a stretch of four road games in five weeks. The Panthers won three of those four road games and have won four times away from home overall this season. Atlanta snapped a three-game losing streak with a 25-20 win on Oct. 29 at the New York Jets and has won three in a row against Carolina.
TAMPA BAY (2-5) at NEW ORLEANS (5-2): The Saints are looking for their sixth-straight win after an 0-2 start. New Orleans gave up a combined 65 points in its two losses to start the season but has allowed only 80 during the five-game winning streak that's followed. Drew Brees completed 23 of 28 passes in the Saints' 20-12 victory over Chicago on Oct. 29. Brees has 6,011 career completions. Only Brett Favre (6,300) and Peyton Manning (6,125) have also completed 6,000 passes.
