WHERE HE'S FROM: Kent, 5-foot-91/8 and 183 pounds, is a native of Harrisburg, Pa., and was a standout at wide receiver and cornerback for Harrisburg High School. He played five seasons at Central Michigan, the last four as a starting cornerback. He'll turn 24 on Sept. 28.
WHAT HE'S DONE: Kent started 47 games at CMU and produced 47 career passes defensed, along with two interceptions. He also amassed 235 tackles in 53 career games played, including more than 50 in each of the last four seasons. He has experience as an outside cornerback and also in the slot. Kent was a First-Team All-MAC pick in 2022, a Second-Team All-MAC selection in 2023 and made Second-Team All-MAC again in 2024, this time as a cornerback and a punt returner (16 returns for 217 yards, a 13.6 average, and one touchdown). He covered the 40-yard dash in 4.38 seconds at a Pro Day.
NFL Draft analyst Dane Brugler listed Kent 43rd among available cornerbacks and gave him a "free agent" grade.
