MIKE WALLACEWide Receiver
It was one of those games where a team falls behind early and has to play catch-up, and those are the situations that lend themselves to some gaudy passing statistics, but how meaningful those are is debatable.
Anyway, Mike Wallace was one of the beneficiaries, and he finished with eight catches for 136 yards and two touchdowns, all career highs. Wallace is the Steelers Digest Player of the Week.
Also considered were Mewelde Moore, who had five receptions for 79 yards, added 14 yards rushing and scored on a two-point conversion out of a wildcat-type formation; and Heath Miller, whose five catches for 60 yards put him at 3,024 for his career. Miller became the second tight end in franchise history to crack 3,000 yards receiving for a career.
