Combine fan: ESPN senior writer John Clayton is a proponent for the Combine continuing, maybe with some tweaks to spice it up more. But for the most part, he thinks it's a key factor for teams to gather information.
"This thing is important," said Clayton. "I still remember more than half of the people didn't run before. Now because it's on TV and it's competitive, the guys train, they come here, they try to compete and you don't have to chase them down at a school." Change of plans:
When Ole Miss tackle Laremy Tunsil arrived at the Combine he said he wanted to run a sub-5.0 40-yard dash and that he would do all of the drills. That changed on Friday when it was time for the offensive linemen to work. Tunsil opted out of the 40-yard dash and said he will do it at his Pro Day at Ole Miss instead.

Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott is at the Combine to help his NFL Draft stock, but also to help others. Elliott wore customized shoes not as an attention getting, but to help victims of domestic violence.
Strong man: Arizona State guard Christian Westerman led all offensive linemen during the bench press with a total of 34 reps at 225 pounds. Tunsil did not participate in the bench press either.
