Steelers To Collect For "Pittsburgh Fallen Heroes Fund" at Fan Blitz The Pittsburgh Steelers will collect donations for the "Pittsburgh Fallen Heroes Fund" during the 2009 Steelers Fan Blitz presented by Comcast at Heinz Field on Saturday, April 25.   

City of Pittsburgh Police Officers will be in the South Plaza at Gate A collecting as fans enter the event.

The 2009 Steelers Fan Blitz runs from 1 – 8 p.m.

The fund has been established by the Fraternal Order of Police to support the families of the three officers slain in the line of duty Saturday, April 4 in Stanton Heights – Eric Kelly, Stephen Mayhle and Paul Sciullo.

Cash donations and checks will be accepted. Checks may be made payable to the "Pittsburgh Fallen Heroes Fund." Those writing checks may specify how they want the money to be used.

For fans who are unable to attend the 2009 Steelers Fan Blitz, you can still donate by sending a check to:
