The Steelers Social Tent is back at training camp this year with some fun new features.
The tent, located next to the FedEx Traveling Great Hall, remains the prime destination for fans looking to connect with the Steelers through Facebook, Twitter, email and the official Steelers smartphone app.
Fans can tweet pictures of themselves from camp to @steelers using #SteelersTrainingCamp and #SteelersNation and will see their tweets appear in real time on the TV stationed in the social tent via TweetDeck. The @steelers official account will retweet some of your tweets, with select ones including merchandise and ticket giveaways.
Poster board cutouts are available for individual or group photos. Choose from a Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or Pintrest themed cutout, take your picture, and then send it straight to the Steelers through social media.
At camp with your phone battery running low? Bring it to the tent and plug it in to one of the on hand charging stations.
Steelers Nation can interact directly with the team by 'Liking' the Steelers on Facebook and following @steelers on Twitter. Sign up for the Steelers email newsletter to receive exclusive Steelers related offers, news and information on events, and great merchandise discount codes to use online.
Practice photos and links to the Steelers.com Live show are posted on each social media stream, as well as contests to win free merchandise, tickets and much more.
