Steelers Sign Linebacker Arthur Moats

The Steelers have signed unrestricted free agent linebacker Arthur Moats to a one-year contract, the team announced today. Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Moats (6-2, 250) was originally drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the sixth round (178th overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft. From 2010-2013, Moats played in 59 games with 20 starts, and he recorded 109 tackles, five sacks, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. He also recorded 32 special teams tackles during that time. In 2013, Moats set career highs in games played (16), starts (12) and total tackles (48).

It's official I'm a Pittsburgh Steeler! Definitely enjoyed my time in Buffalo & all the support that I received from the fans! Thank you! — Arthur Moats (@dabody52) March 25, 2014
