PITTSBURGH ─** The Steelers signed free agent kicker Chris Boswell, the team announced today.
Boswell was with the New York Giants for the team's 2015 offseason and training camp. He spent one week of the 2014 season on the Houston Texans' practice squad. Boswell originally signed with the Texans as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Rice on May 16, 2014.
To make room on the roster, the Steelers released kicker Josh Scobee.
