Steelers sign Green to a four-year contract

The Steelers signed tight end Ladarius Greento a four-year contract, the team announced today. Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Green, an unrestricted free agent, spent the first four years of his career with San Diego after being selected by the Chargers in the fourth round (110thoverall) of the 2012 NFL Draft. He played collegiately at Louisiana-Lafayette. 

In 2015, Green established single-season career bests in receptions (37), receiving yards (429) and touchdown receptions (4), as he started 11-of-13 games played.

In his four-year career, Green has played in 47 regular-season contests (26 starts), and he has started two postseason games. His career numbers during the regular season include 77 receptions for 1,087 yards with seven receiving touchdowns. Green will wear No. 80.
