The Steelers revealed today they have agreed to a five-year contract with 102.5 WDVE as the club's flagship station, it was announced this morning by Steelers' President Art Rooney II on the DVE Morning Show.
"We are happy to reach an agreement with WDVE," Rooney II said. "It has been a great partnership and I know that our fans enjoy the Steelers being heard on WDVE. We look forward to five more years with WDVE."
WDVE, which is owned by Clear Channel Communications Worldwide, has been the Steelers' flagship radio station since 1998. WDVE's sister station, 970 AM ESPN Radio, will also continue to air all Steelers' games. The new contract begins with the 2011 seasons. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
