Steelers Re-Sign Free Agent Linebacker Andre Frazier

PITTSBURGH —The Steelers re-signed free agent linebacker Andre Frazier to a one-year contract, the team announced today. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Frazier (6-5, 255) was originally signed by the Steelers as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2005 out of the University of Cincinnati. He was then released following the team's 2006 training camp and signed with the Cincinnati Bengals. After spending the 2006 season and one game in 2007 with the Bengals, the Steelers re-signed Frazier on Sept. 20, 2007, as a free agent.

In 2007, Frazier played in eight games with the Steelers and posted 12 special teams tackles and one fumble recovery on special teams. He also collected 12 special teams tackles in 2005 in 11 games for Pittsburgh and added seven special teams tackles in 2006 with the Bengals.
