The Steelers promoted offensive lineman John Malecki to their active roster, the team announced today. Malecki will wear No. 62.
Malecki has been on the Steelers' practice squad for the first six weeks of the 2012 season. He spent a total of five weeks on the Steelers' practice squad in 2011. Malecki originally signed with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted rookie free agent out of the University of Pittsburgh on April 26, 2010.
To make room for Malecki on the active roster, the Steelers released defensive lineman Corbin Bryant.
