Steelers Nation continues to buzz as Saturday night's 8:15 p.m. kickoff nears and the Baltimore Ravens come to Heinz Field for the AFC Wild Card Game.
Friday afternoon, Steelers fans gathered in the courtyard at the Allegheny County Courthouse for a pep rally in preparation for Saturday's game. The crowd received Terrible Towels and Steelers Nation Unite decals just for attending. Two families even won tickets for Saturday night's game just for coming to the rally.
Former Steelers and Super Bowl champions Dwayne Woodruff and Chris Hoke spoke to the crowd and got everyone excited for a playoff run. County Executive Rich Fitzgerald and Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto were also in attendance to address the fans, declaring Friday "Pittsburgh Steelers" day in the city.
As fans have been eagerly awaiting Saturday's kickoff, the Weekly Huddle gave Steelers Nation Unite members an opportunity to chat with Ramon Foster on Thursday afternoon and talk about the rivalry with Baltimore. Foster talked about what it's like preparing to face the Ravens in the postseason and spoke glowingly about the support the team receives from Steelers Nation each week. As the game is set to kickoff Saturday night, the Weekly Huddle (a weekly message delivered to Steelers Nation Unite members) is calling for all fans in attendance to start the "Here We Go, Steelers, Here We Go!" chant to let the primetime national audience hear what the postseason is like at Heinz Field.
Steelers Nation Unite members will also be rewarded with prizes and experiences for being at the game and members will be receiving prizes at home for interacting on social media. Opportunities such as these are available exclusively through Steelers Nation Unite, which is free to join and be a member.
