Steelers Make Roster Moves

The Steelers made several roster moves today that included nose tackle Alameda Ta'amu being placed on the team's Reserved/Suspended List, the team announced.

Additionally, the Steelers signed defensive end Corbin Bryant to fill the open spot on their active roster. Bryant appeared in one game in 2011 for the Steelers and spent the rest of the season on the practice squad. He originally signed with the Steelers as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Northwestern University prior to the start of training camp in 2011. Bryant will wear No. 71.

The Steelers also signed offensive lineman Jacques McClendonto the practice squad. McClendon, who most recently spent time with the Detroit Lions, was originally drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the fourth round (129th overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft.

To make room for McClendon on the practice squad, the Steelers released tight end Jamie McCoy.
