When Penny Minor got the phone call, she thought for sure it had to be a hoax. She never thought it could be true.
"I thought it was a scam," said Minor. "I did a reverse number check on the computer and it really led back to the person I spoke to. Then I got the email and the rules and I thought this must be real."
It was indeed real. Minor was the he was the winner of a 2014 Ford F-150 X-L-T SuperCrew, completely wrapped in Steelers colors and logos, courtesy of a contest run by the Neighborhood Ford Store and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
"I was in shock," said Minor. "I still am to a certain point."
Minor, who said she currently has a 10-year old Ford Focus and was in need of something for the snowy weather, received the truck on Sunday before kickoff of the Steelers-Bengals game and was thrilled to attend the game with her family.
"I was excited about the truck, and excited to get the Steelers tickets," said Minor. "My family and I have never been to a Steelers game. I have been watching since I was a kid with my father and I never thought I would get to see them. The memories of this game will always be there."
