The Steelers added nine draft picks as well as agreeing to terms with 15 rookie free agents following the 2013 NFL Draft, the team announced today. The 24 rookies will participate in the team's rookie minicamp next weekend, which runs Friday through Sunday, May 3-5.
The Steelers' 2013 draftees include linebacker Jarvis Jones (1st round, 17th overall), running back Le'Veon Bell (2nd, 48th), wide receiver Markus Wheaton (3rd, 79th), safety Shamarko Thomas (4th a, 111th), quarterback Landry Jones (4th b, 115th), cornerback Terry Hawthorne (5th, 150th), wide receiver Justin Brown (6th a, 186th), linebacker Vince Williams (6th b, 206th) and defensive end Nicholas Williams (7th, 223rd).
The 15 undrafted rookies include defensive end Brian Arnfelt (Northwestern), linebacker Alan Baxter (Northern Illinois), guard Nik Embernate (San Diego State), wide receiver Reggie Dunn (Utah), offensive tackle Mike Farrell (Penn State), offensive tackle Mike Golic, Jr. (Notre Dame), defensive end Cordian Hagans (Louisiana-Lafayette), guard Chris Hubbard (UAB), defensive tackle Omar Hunter (Florida), long snapper Luke Ingram (Hawaii), center Joe Madsen (West Virginia), running back Curtis McNeal (USC), center Ivory Wade (Baylor), defensive tackle Anthony Rashad White (Michigan State) and wide receiver J.D. Woods (West Virginia).
