The Steelers continued their offseason communication with season ticket holders this week with an email on Wednesday regarding payment and details for their season tickets, which included their invoice for 2021. The renewal information was also mailed to season ticket holders and is expected to arrive in the coming days.
On Tuesday, the NFL confirmed a 17-game regular season schedule in 2021, with AFC teams hosting the additional regular season game this year. The Steelers are set to host the Seattle Seahawks. Wednesday's email let season ticket holders know that season ticket prices will remain flat for the 2021 season. However, the total package price reflected on the invoice includes nine (9) regular season games and one (1) preseason game.
The email also let season ticket holders know that, for the first time, the team is offering the option to pay for season tickets in installments. Season ticket holders can choose to pay in installments by registering for the plan on or before April 15 at steelers.com/accountmanager. The installment plan would allow the ticket holder to pay in three equal payments due at registration, on May 15 and June 15. Season ticket holders who renew between April 1 and April 30 will automatically be entered for a chance to win 1 of 30 prizes drawn throughout the month of April including autographed merchandise, Steelers Pro Shop gift cards and more.
To provide flexibility in the event of reduced capacity this upcoming season, the email let season ticket holders know that 2021 season tickets will be mobile-only. Tickets will be managed through the Steelers online Account Manager and Official Mobile App - once the NFL schedule is released later this spring.
The team is also once again offering the postseason "Pay-as-We-Play" option. When renewing online, season ticket holders can reserve their postseason home game tickets without putting down any money and receive a discount on a home Wild Card Round game.
