LATROBE, Pa. – Rookie receiver Sammie Coates weighed in on three topics at camp as the Steelers are preparing for their third preseason game.
On Coach Mike Tomlin saying some of the rookies are fighting fatigue and how you work around that:
"You have to keep conditioning, keep running every day, keep going hard. Put in extra work when you have time."
On what he hopes to show this week against the Green Bay Packers:
"Just keep getting better. That is the only thing you can show. Keep showing that you are improving every day."
On if he expects to play a lot vs. the Packers:
"I want to keep showing I can help. I am going to keep taking advantage of my opportunity."
