The Steelers roster continues to undergo some changes as the offseason is underway, with two new additions to it this week.
The team added defensive linemen Lavon Hooks and Roy Philon, two players who were with the team during the 2016 offseason.
Hooks was signed last February and was with the team through training camp, but waived on the final roster cut. He wasn't on a team's roster during the 2016 season. He was with the Green Bay Packers in training camp in 2015, but was released prior to the start of the season.
Philon signed with the Steelers last offseason as well, but was waived in training camp and wasn't picked up by another team. He was with the Steelers in training camp in 2014 and played in four preseason games. He has also spent time with the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions.
The other moves the Steelers have made this offseason include signing Greg Warren to a one-year contract before he became a free agent on March 9. The team also released cornerback Justin Gilbert, who they acquired via trade from the Cleveland Browns last year.
The team also signed 13 players to reserve/future contracts at the end of the season. Those players are now all on the active roster, as the reserve/future designation expired after the Super Bowl.

Cornerback Brandon Dixon: Was on the Steelers practice squad in 2016.
Linebacker Greg Ducre: Spent time with the San Diego Chargers and Washington Redskins on practice squad and active roster in 2014 and 2015. Also spent time with the BC Lions in the Canadian Football League.
Running back Brandon Brown-Dukes: Was on the Steelers practice squad in 2016.
Offensive lineman Matt Feiler: Was on the Steelers practice squad in 2016.
