NFL fellowship honors Bill Nunn

Former Steelers' scout Bill Nunn was a trailblazer in the business, and his contribution to the Steelers and the National Football League will live on with the Nunn-Wooten Scouting Fellowship.

The fellowship, announced by the NFL, honors both Nunn and John Wooten, who has spent 40 years in the NFL as a player and executive and is the current chairman of the Fritz Pollard Alliance Foundation.

The program is designed to encourage former NFL players to pursue a career in professional scouting.

Nunn, who passed away in May, spent 46 seasons with the Steelers, helping to build one of the greatest draft classes ever in 1974, a class that included four future Hall of Famers.
