Ms. Layman was nominated by a former student that says: "Mrs. Layman is an AWESOME, amazing, creative, and techie teacher! She made me believe that "The magic is in YOU". Computer time was never boring, NO! From making a super cool lib dub, to creating the 1st place in the nation Voya Unsung Heroes Award of Shark Tank, 7th Grade Style, to creating our very own video game, every day was simply magical. We got to do things other kids just dreamt about. For me and her students, she helped us to imagine what our future was going to be like because she had us involved with professionals in every project we did! I only hope that one day I can pay her back for all she has done for me and the other students."
