A record crowd enjoyed a crisp, cool morning perfect for running the 22nd Annual Gatorade/Steelers 5K on Saturday.
Leah Ahlin of Murrysville and Jed Christiansen of Greenville finished the race as the top male and female runners.
Louis Flajnik of McKeesport was the winner in the Nose Tackle division for those over 200 pounds.
Dick's Sporting Goods repeated as Large Corporate Team (1000 employees) champion as did Fleet Feet Sports in the Small Team (3-99 employees) division. Team AHS took the honors for the Medium Team (100-999) winner.
More than 32 states were represented along with runners from Canada, Puerto Rico and Germany. Proceeds benefit the Art Rooney Scholarship Fund.
