Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is nominated for the FedEx Air NFL Player of the Week for his performance against the Arizona Cardinals.
Roethlisberger completed 26 passes for 361 yards and three touchdowns in the Steelers 32-20 win.
"He was very good," said Coach Mike Tomlin when asked about his quarterback after the game. "The thing that I like that he did, of course he did his usual in terms of buying time and creating plays, but I liked the way he utilized the backs as plays broke down. There was an opportunity there for us, I thought they had some critical conversions and positive plays just simply dumping the ball to number 33 (Isaac Redman), number 34 (Rashard Mendenhall) and number 21 (Mewelde Moore). I liked that."
Fans can vote for Roethlisberger until Friday at noon by clicking on Vote for Ben.
Junior Achievement has partnered with FedEx and if Roethlisberger wins, $2,000 will be donated to Junior Achievement of Western Pennsylvania.
